Our Most Comprehensive LTCI Policy
(available in all states except FL)

Custom Care II  is an innovative, competitively priced LTCI product that provides individuals and their families with a variety of built-in benefits and the flexibility to choose riders to meet their needs.

Simplicity and Innovation

Custom Care II is a comprehensive LTCI product combining innovation and simplification. It covers care at home, and in assisted living facilities, nursing homes and adult day care centers.

Benefits are available either monthly, from $1500 to $15,000, or daily, from $50 to $500 (if age 80-84, maximum benefits are lower). There is a choice of benefit periods and elimination  periods. Among the policy’s built-in benefits are:

  • Bed hold and Respite benefits

  • Care Advisory Services

  • Waiver of Premium

  • Partner, Family and Preferred Health Discounts

  • Limited Pay Options.

Also included for people under 65 are Double Coverage for Accidents and Return of Premium.

Optional benefits include:

  • Inflation Protection
  • Shared Care (transfer of benefits between insured partners)
  • Waiver of Home Care Elimination Period
  • Restoration of Benefits
  • Nonforfeiture

Leading Edge is LTC insurance designed with Baby Boomers' needs in mind. It provides comprehensive coverage that's competitively priced and surprisingly affordable, with exciting new benefits1 that we think everyone will love.

  • Automatic Inflation Coverage offers a more affordable approach to inflation protection.2 It provides built-in, compound inflation protection linked to the Consumer Price Index (CPI).
     

  • Caregiver Support Services provides a tangible "now" benefit3 designed to help ease the stress on policyholders who are called on to provide care giving or care planning for parents or other family members.
     

  • 5 Years Plus $1 Million is a creative alternative to costly lifetime coverage that provides policyholders with an additional $1 million in coverage should the pool of money from their initial 5-Year Benefit Period run out.
     

  • Comprehensive Coverage with a Streamlined Design helps to reduce the complexity of LTC insurance without sacrificing coverage. Leading Edge helps take the guesswork out of policy design by offering strong, built-in benefits and just the right choices:

    Built-in features include:
    - Automatic compound inflation linked to the Consumer Price Index (CPI)
    - A standard 100-day Elimination Period
    - International Coverage
    - Expanded home health care services, including Total Homemaker Services and independent home health care where provider qualification is not required.4

    You only have to make a few key decisions:
    - Daily/Monthly Benefit: Choose $50-$500 per day or $1,500-$15,000 per month
    - Benefit Periods: Choose 3 Years, 5 Years, or 5 Years Plus $1 Million
    - Optional Riders: SharedCare, Nonforfeiture, and Zero-Day Elimination Period for Home Care

    The product also offers:
    - A simplified claims process that minimizes paperwork and administration
    - Credit card payments (MasterCard® and Visa®) for all premium payment modes
