Whats in it for my Clients?

Cash Value Strategies®† give clients control over their annuity's potential growth. Clients may choose a guaranteed one-year strategy and/or one or both of the index strategies.

Guaranteed one-year strategies offer the security of locked-in gains. Clients who choose a guaranteed one-year strategy receive the higher of the portfolio rate or the current market rate for first-year premium, and the portfolio rate upon renewal.

  • Guaranteed One-Year Strategy—Traditional, declared rate strategy.
  • Guaranteed One-Year Current Market Strategy—Bases earnings on available current market investments. Renews at the Guaranteed One-Year Strategy yield. (Available for first-year premium only.)

Index strategies provide the opportunity to maximize earnings.

  • Index 10-Year Treasury Strategy—Yield based on performance of high-quality Treasuries.
  • Index Corporate Bond Strategy—Yield based on performance of investment-grade corporate bonds.

Liquidity and Accessibility


Whats in it for my Clients?

The security of knowing that their money is available when needed.

Surrender charge-free withdrawals—A portion of available cash value can be accessed each contract year, including the first year.

"Checkbook" access—Owners can write up to two drafts per year ($25 per draft thereafter) for a minimum of $500 per draft, payable to their bank.

Confinement Waiver—Lets clients access all or part of their available cash value without surrender charge or adjustment if confined to a hospital, hospice facility, or nursing home. Amount available depends on age at issue.

Substantially Equal Periodic Payments (SEPP)—Allows clients to avoid incurring income tax penalties on withdrawals prior to age 59½.

Systematic Income Option—Available on an annual, semiannual, quarterly, or monthly basis.

The security of knowing their money is protected by guarantees.

Clients are guaranteed to:

  • Earn interest on 100% of their principal, less surrender charges, if applicable.
  • Choose from Cash Value Strategies®.
  • Access a portion of their cash value each year.
  • Earn no less than a guaranteed interest rate on 100% of premium. The minimum interest rate depends upon the product purchased.
  • Select a settlement option after the first year.

Commissions


What's in it for Me?

Pay-for-performance contract.

No chargebacks upon death or surrender after free-look period.

No commission reduction for election of Settlement Options 7 or 8 or substantially equal periodic payments (SEPP).

No mandatory trailing commission.

Choice of elective trailing commissions. Percentage splits available are 75/25, 50/50, and 25/75 (up front/trailing).

Fabulous incentive trips, with qualification based on amount of commissions earned.
