Premium Bonus

What’s in it for my Clients?

jump-start on earnings with an extra 4%, 8%, or 10% premium bonus on certain products.

The premium bonus:

  • Vests immediately.

  • Applies to additional premium payments.

For example, a $100,000 initial premium into RewardMarkSM Extra 8 would be credited as $108,000 and begin earning interest from day one.

This extra amount is automatically allocated according to their strategy selections.

Strategy Choices

A choice of:

  • Four index strategies to maximize growth potential.
  • A fixed rate strategy for predictable interest crediting.

The ability to diversify by allocating premium among any available strategy.


Index strategies:
  • S&P 500® ** One-Year Point-to-Point Strategy With Cap.
  • S&P 500® ** One-Year Point-to-Point Strategy With Participation Rate.
  • S&P 500® ** One-Year Monthly Averaging Strategy.
  • S&P 500® ** One-Year Monthly Averaging Strategy With Spread.

The point-to-point index strategies credit interest based on a formula that tracks changes in the S&P 500® ** Index over a one-year period. Each index strategy has only one moving part—a competitive current cap, spread, or participation rate.

Fixed Rate Strategy:
Credits a declared rate for a 12-month term. A new 12-month guarantee period is established and a new interest rate is declared for each premium payment/transfer allocated or renewing. Interest compounds daily!

Clients can transfer premium:

  • From the Fixed Rate Strategy to the index strategies at any time.
  • From and between the index strategies at the end of the term only.

No matter what clients choose, interest credited will never be less than 0% and gains earned in prior terms will never erode.

Enhanced Care Rider

What’s in it for my Clients?

Less worry and more control. Clients can rest assured knowing they're protected financially.

The Enhanced Care RiderSM is not long-term care insurance. It does increase the annuity value, allowing clients to:

  • Control how and when they use the increased value.
  • Avoid underwriting and invasive medical questions.
  • Enhance their current retirement plans and financial independence.

Exceptional value: The yearly charge for the rider is only 0.55% of the greater of the rider premium and rider value.

There are no medical questions or underwriting: The Enhanced Care RiderSM is guaranteed issue.

The rider can be elected only at contract issue, and the designated annuitant must:

  • Be 40-75 years old.
  • Not have been confined to a nursing home or assisted living facility or received care services in the 12 months before the rider effective date.

After six years, clients can receive benefits once the 45-day elimination period is over if the designated annuitant is unable to perform two of six activities of daily living and is receiving care services.

Access Options

What’s in it for my Clients?

The security of knowing their money is available for unexpected expenses.

The ability to target the fixed rate strategy for withdrawals,** allowing them to capture interest earned during the term.

Surrender Charge-Free Withdrawals**—Up to 10% of annuity value may be accessed each year after 30 days without surrender charge or MVA. Clients who have a tax-qualified plan may take the greater of 10% or the minimum required distribution each year without surrender charge or market value adjustment.

"Checkbook" Access**,—Owners can write up to two free drafts per year ($25 per draft charge thereafter) for a minimum of $500 per draft, payable to their bank.

Confinement Waiver††—All or part of annuity value can be accessed without surrender charge or MVA if the owner(s) is confined to a hospital, hospice facility, or nursing home. Amount available depends on age at issue.

Substantially Equal Periodic Payments (SEPP)—Allows clients to avoid incurring income tax penalties on withdrawals prior to age 59½.

Systematic Income Option—Available on an annual, semiannual, quarterly, or monthly basis.

Guarantees interest on 87.5% of principal. The minimum interest rate varies by state and issue date but will never be less than 1% or more than 3%.**

Lifetime Payout Guarantee
Guarantees the right to select a settlement option.
